Warranty, Acceptance and Terms of Sale

Genuine Product
All equipment sold, unless specifically noted at the point of sale, are brand new genuine OEM products, in factory sealed box, manufactured for the U.S. market and guaranteed to be the premium "A" goods only available to authorized distributors.

Return Policy
All unopened, undamaged factory sealed new products, other than Sharp 13 digit replacement parts, have a 30 day return policy. You may return any qualifying non-part item for full item(s) price for 30 days from date of purchase. Opened or not sealed in factory packaging and ALL Sharp 13 digit replacement parts, sale final subject only to manufacturer's defect warranty as outlined below.

Manufacturer's Warranty
Applies to Sharp "AL" copier, "UX" fax and "XE" register consumer equipment:
  • Manufacturer's warranty varies but can be up to a 3-year parts & labor limited warranty. See product specifications for details.
  • Warranty is strictly between Manufacturer and Purchaser.
  • Support and Warranty is provided directly by manufacturer. Please call 1-800-BE-SHARP for complete details.
  • If return is authorized by the Manufacturer it must include the Sharp Case Number and contact name.
Applies to Sharp "AR" copier and "FO" fax commercial equipment:
  • Manufacturer's warranty is 90 days parts only.
  • Warranty is strictly between Manufacturer and Distributor/Dealer.
  • Warranty covers defective parts as determined by OlsonBros, authorized Sharp service center or Distributor/Dealer. Warranty does not cover the cost of supplies, shipping, labor or installation of warranted parts. A list of Sharp recommended service centers is available HERE. Your equipment is shipped directly from a Distributor/Dealer Authorized to handle warranty part claims on commercial products.
Applies to Samsung consumer copier and fax equipment:
  • Manufacturer's warranty varies but can be up to a 2-year parts & labor limited warranty. See product specifications for details.
  • Warranty is strictly between Manufacturer and Purchaser.
  • Samsung Limited Warranty: During the term of the U.S. limited warranty, Samsung Electronics America (SEA) provides for carry-in/mail-in service on most SEA products at a Samsung Authorized Service Center. To determine if your SEA Consumer Electronics product needs service, or for more information on warranty policies and procedures, please refer to the Service Policy page for your product. You may also contact us by e-mail or call 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864).*.
  • If return is authorized by the Manufacturer it must include the Samsung Case Number and contact name.
Applies to Samsung commercial copier and fax equipment:
  • Manufacturer's warranty varies but can be up to a 2-year parts only warranty. See product specifications for details.
  • Warranty is strictly between Manufacturer and Distributor/Dealer.
  • Warranty covers defective parts as determined by OlsonBros, authorized Samsung service center or Distributor/Dealer. Your equipment is shipped directly from a Distributor/Dealer Authorized to handle warranty part claims on commercial products.
Replacement Supplies (Consumables) Applies to toner, drums and developer:
  • It is extremely rare that genuine supplies contain any type of manufacturer defect. All supplies are rigorously tested and subjected to industry leading quality control. Because of this and the likelihood that machine malfunction or mis-calibration is the true cause of difficulty, and because machine malfunction or mis-calibration may lead to damaging the new supply item the Manufacturer does not warrant supply items, sale final if package opened. Be cautious, machine malfunction or mis-calibration may lead to the premature conclusion that the supply item is defective. The Manufacturer or Distributor/Dealer will not accept return of items that have been opened and used in a defective machine or used in an indiscriminate mannor.
Software: All software sales are final.

Networking and Network Kits:
  • Because of the complexity and varied environments of LAN and WAN networks support is not available for network cards, kits and options. Please be certain you have qualified IT personal available to install and configure network devices before you order.
  • We are not allowed to accept the return of any networking add-on option or accessory, sale final.
Clearance, Open-Box, Overstock, Surplus:
  • Guaranteed to arrive as stated on sale page.
  • Sold without manufacturer warranty.
  • 30 day exchange.
Sharp 13 digit Replacement Parts:
Items not previously mentioned are considered parts. These are Special Order, ship direct from the manufacturer and are usually ordered by 13 digit/character Sharp part number.
  • All parts are genuine, original and are rigorously tested and subjected to industry leading quality control by the manufacturer. All parts are special order. Because of this and to prevent the exchanging of parts as a method of repair diagnosis there is a sale final policy on all parts, no returns. Exchange for same part only if found to be defective..
  • SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCE: If an UNINSTALLED Sharp part ordered by 13 digit part number is determined to be defective out of box within 5 days of delivery it may be returned for a replacement of the EXACT SAME PART NUMBER. Send RMA request to:

    Please include your full Order Number, name and a description of the defect. If the returned item is determined to be defective an EXACT replacement will be provided. An advance replacement must be paid for in advance. These are the Manufactures terms and there are no exceptions.
  • Parts orders under $25 will incur an additional $5 handling fee.

General Conditions of Sale
Applies to all sales.
  • Warranty valid only in the United States.
  • Shipping Address: All shipping addresses MUST be a physical street address in the United States, no International addresses, no PO Boxes. In the event a package is undeliverable, for any reason, to the shipping address supplied to OlsonBros an additional shipping charge may be applied to re-direct the package or in the event the package is returned to OlsonBros additional shipping charges will apply.
  • Shipping & Insurance Claims: All items are shipped fully insured from Minnesota. If an item arrives damaged refuse the package as damaged. The damaged package will be returned and a claim processed. If the packaged is received or accepted as damaged it is the responsibility of the receiving party to initiate the damage claim with carrier. The carrier will then dispatch a representative to evaluate and pick up the item. Failure to follow through and cooperate with a damage claim will void damage replacement.
  • Manufacturer rebates: All rebates are a contract between consumer and manufacturer. OlsonBros makes no representations or guarantees pertaining to manufacturer rebates.
  • Backorder: Items marked "Backorder" are on national backorder from the manufacturer. If these items may be ordered they are placed on Priority Backorder. Priority Backorders secure your position and will be filled FIRST as inventory becomes available. Generally very limited quantities of backordered items become available initially. Priority Backorders will be charged to your credit card at the time the Priority Backorder is placed to secure your product. To request a priority backorder please note it in the comments field of the checkout form. Otherwise orders containing backorders or a mixture of backordered and in-stock items will ship partially complete with the backorder items being placed on normal backorder and you will be charged for only the items shipped.
  • Special Circumstances: Under certain circumstances return or exchange of an item may be permitted outside of the terms stated. Such returns are evaluated on an individual basis and may be subject to:
    • Deducting the cost of any supply item (toner, developer, image ribbon, ink cartridge, drum, etc.) no longer in a factory sealed package.
    • Deducting a 25% (50% for replacement parts) restocking fee ($20 minimum).
    • Deducting an additional 25% missing or damaged box fee.
    • Deducting shipping charges.
    • Deducting for missing items including manuals.
    • Deducting for damage caused by misuse, improper installation, improper packing or under insured which are not covered by warranty.
    • Return of items for a discontinued model will be evaluated on an individual basis may not be allowed under "Special Circumstances".
    • No returns after a 30 day period
  • If items/parts are authorized for returned, it the responsibility of purchaser to do so, prepaid, insured, in all original packing with all accessories and only as directed by distributor/dealer and OlsonBros to the unique RMA address(s) provided with RMA number. If misaddressed items may be undeliverable, not acceptable or returned. Equipment is undeliverable to administrative address. No returns without advanced RMA number, RMA authorizations expire 10 days from date issued.
  • RMA items returned as damaged/defective will be inspected and tested. And if found to be free of defect materially affecting their intended use, will be returned to buyer without refund.
  • Misuse, incidental damage, improper setup, or installation voids warranty. Setup and installation instructions for AR commercial copiers is HERE and must be completed prior to use.
  • **KEEP ALL PACKING MATERIAL** Defect/Damage claims or Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) are not possible without all packing material. If packing material is lost or discarded claims for damaged or defective product cannot be accepted. All parts and components must be re-packed into their original packing material. Products for which the UPC label has been cut out, removed or is missing CANNOT be returned for refund under any circumstances. NEVER ship any copier or fax machine with toner or paper installed. Toner cartridges MUST be sealed in air-tight plastic bags prior to shipping. Not following these instructions will automatically void warranty or RMA.
  • All sales are dealer sales, buyer agrees and assumes responsibility as a purchasing dealer. Approved warranties are limited to repair or replacement at Approving parties option.
  • In the event of non-payment or other dispute, all parties agree to jurisdiction and venue in the County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota or the County of Polk, State of Wisconsin as may be substituted at the sole discretion of Seller.
  • Seller's Liability Limited To The Warranty Expressed Herein and as may be Supplemented on Invoice. No Other Warranties Expressed or Implied.
  • By placing order and accepting delivery, buyer agrees to be bound by these terms.
  • No warranty or return without prior authorization and RMA number.
